Saturday Reminder

THIRD Reminder:
Saturday: Some Factors That will Make our Night Prayer (Taraaweeh, Tahajjud) Easy be-iznilLah.
               Bismillahir Rahmaanir Raheem

Imam Abu Hameed Al-Ghazali May Allah be pleased with him,  mentioned some external and internal factors that will make Night Prayer (Isha, Taraaweeh and Any Nafl Salaat) easy.

External factors include: We should not eat or drink too much after breaking the fast, if we do, sleeping will overpower us, and waking up will be difficult. We should not tire ourselves in the daytime with things of no benefit.  We should not avoid the mid-day nap because it helps with regards to waking up. We should not commit any known form of sins else it will aid us to be lazy for any worship at night due to guilty conscience.

Internal factors include: The heart should be free from malice towards the Muslims, bid'as, and excessive worldly interests. The heart should have a lot of fear and not too much hope. We should know the benefits of night prayer. We should fear the punishment of Allah if we decide not to care about His promises for us on this blessed month. Lets note that if the Promises of Paradise by Allah is not enough to motivate us to avoid any form of sins especially in this month then His punishment should be a fear factor to discourage us from any known disobedience.

Whenever iftaar approaches we should strive to go to the masjid with wuduu, praise Allah through some azkaar, send salawaat to the Prophet,  make lots of dua to yourself, your family and all Muslims without forgetting me in particular 😄, then send another salawaat to the Prophet till When breaking the fast or after breaking the fast then recite.
ذَهَبَ الظَّمَأُ وَ ابْتَلَّتِ الْعُرُوقُ، وَ ثَبَتَ الأجْرُ إنْ شَاءَ اللَّهُ
dhahabadh-dhama'u wab-tallatil 'urūūqi, wa thabatal arju inshaAllah
The thrist is gone, the veins are moistened and the reward is confirmed, if Allah [Ta'ala] Wills
[abu Dawud 2:306].

May Allah aid us in our efforts to be better muslims at the end of this month. Aameen.
