LAGOS COMMISSIONER OF POLICE,IMOHIMI EDGAL DEMOTED According to reports, the Police Service Commission (PSC), has reportedly demoted Lagos State's Acting Commissioner of Police (CP) Mr Imohimi Edgal. This is coming just after 42 days as the Lagos CP. According to reports, Edgal will now revert to his old rank of Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP). The letter titled, 'Withdrawal of Acting Appointment: AP. 25095 Mohimi D. Edgal and AP. 36665 Aji Ali Janga', is, however, addressed to the Inspector General of Police (IGP), Mr Ibrahim Idris, and signed by the Permanent Secretary at the PSC, Mr M.F. Istifanus, on behalf of the Chairman, Mr Mike Okiro. BUHARI ASKED US TO FOCUS ON NORTHERN NIGERIA - WORLD BANK The President of the World Bank Group, Jim Yong Kim, said on Thursday that the bank had concentrated on the northern region of Nigeria in line with President Muhammadu Buhari's request.
